Radomir Kovač

RADOMIR KOVAČ (b. 1961), one of the deputy commanders of the Army of Republika Srpska Military Police and the leader of the paramilitary forces in the town of Foča

He was convicted in 2002 by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) to 20 years in prison for enslavement, rape and outrages upon personal dignity, as crimes against humanity and war crimes. He served his sentence in Norway, from where he was released early in 2013, after serving two-thirds of his sentence.
