Neđo Samardžić
NEĐO SAMARDŽIĆ (b. 1968), member of the Army of Republika Srpska
He was convicted in 2006 by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to 24 years in prison for crimes against humanity: persecution; deportation or forced displacement of the population; deprivation of physical liberty contrary to the basic rules of international law; rape and other inhumane acts of a similar nature, committed with the intent to cause great suffering, serious physical or mental injury or impairment of health, and he is serving his sentence in the Institute for Execution of Criminal Sanctions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Lukavica, near Sarajevo.
