Radovan Stanković
RADOVAN STANKOVIĆ (b. 1969), member of the Army of Republika Srpska
He was convicted in 2007 by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to 20 years of prison for crimes against humanity: enslavement; deprivation of physical liberty contrary to the basic rules of international law; torture and rape. He escaped from the Foča Detention Facility on 25 May 2007 while being taken to hospital. He was arrested again on 21 January 2012 in Foča. He is currently serving his sentence in the Institute for Execution of Criminal Sanctions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Lukavica, near Sarajevo.
